Hundreds of STEM and Career Pathway lessons and resources prepare to engage thousands of youth across the state

Los Angeles, CA and Pryor, OK (October 14, 2025) MidAmerica Industrial Park and Mizzen Education are partnering to provide STEM career pathway programming in the state of Oklahoma and beyond via the Mizzen learning platform. Mizzen Education has curated a special collection of STEM Learning and Career Pathway Resources that make it easy and effective for educators to design and deliver creative learning experiences in the sciences, entrepreneurship, college and career readiness, and critical 21st-century skills.

MidAmerica Industrial Park — one of the largest industrial parks in the nation — provides a pro-business environment to more than 80 companies, including five Fortune 500 companies and the second largest Google Data Center in the world. Mizzen Education is an education technology nonprofit organization that provides educational resources and solutions, digital technologies, and professional development services to more than 25,000 educators and thousands of afterschool programs nationwide.

MidAmerica was founded in 1960 by the state of Oklahoma to serve as a major industrial hub for job creation and economic growth, supporting over 5,000 jobs in the region. In keeping with the spirit of its commitment to innovation and job creation, MidAmerica created the MidAmerica STEM Alliance, which includes in-school and out-of-school opportunities, designed to engage young people in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics learning activities. The initiative serves as an important component of the Park’s broader workforce development strategy. By connecting students with local employers, the program provides critical career exploration and technical skills training designed to align with the needs of employers in advanced manufacturing and technology fields.

“We know that the success of our business depends on serving and supporting healthy, growing companies. And this growth comes in the way of our clients hiring great people with the necessary skills to remain competitive and meet the moment,” said Director of Workforce Development for MidAmerica, Scott Fry. “Our partnership with Mizzen Education gives our school districts, community-based organizations, and individual educators the critical tools and resources they need to engage young people in discovering their passions and developing skills for this exciting future, be it here in Oklahoma or elsewhere.”

“MidAmerica is the first-of-its-kind corporate sponsor to not just step up and support our efforts of equipping educators to be conduits for engagement and learning, but to directly fund our content development strategy,” said Carlos Santini, CEO for Mizzen Education. “STEM learning is the most sought-after teaching and learning topic for our educator community. There are so many opportunities to build great content and resources, and MidAmerica is helping us accomplish that.”

MidAmerica and Mizzen Education will work with various schools and organizations in northeast Oklahoma to build educators’ capacity in leveraging Mizzen’s feature-rich platform to plan, design, and deliver robust K-12 learning experiences that transform learning into an adventure.

The Mizzen Education platform and library of over 1,800 learning resources and planning tools are available completely free at www.mizzen.org.
